Thank you for your interest in becoming a consignor at Next Consignment Boutique (Next). Our goal is to provide quality clothing and accessories for women and children, friendly and attentive customer service and a personal working relationship with our consignors that is mutually beneficial. With that in mind... here is how it works:
Merchandise is seasonal and accepted on the following schedule:
The following pricing schedule is a guideline for displaying merchandise. Weeks 1, 2 and 3: Full price Weeks 4, 5 and 6: Items will be marked 25% off original price Weeks 7, 8 and 9: Items will be marked 50% off original price Week 10: Any unsold merchandise will be removed from the floor.
Three months after the appointment call to see if there are any unsold items to be picked up.
Consignor receives 45% of the actual selling price of merchandise. Next will process checks for each month on the 10th of the following month for amounts greater than $10.00. The checks will be kept at Next for pick-up at consignor’s convenience. However, please remember that checks are voided after four months and the check amount may used as store credit only. Call or stop by to check on the status of your account each month to find out if we have a check for you, if you have a "store credit" balance that you may spend, or if you have unsold items to pick up. Remember it is the consignor’s responsibility to pick up checks or unsold items in a timely manner.
Now.... for the "fine print"... - Next reserves the right to reject any clothing or accessories. - Although markdowns will generally follow the schedule previously outlined, Next reserves the right to mark items down at any time during the nine-week consignment period. - Pricing will be determined by Next staff. - Merchandise placed on consignment must remain at Next for the entire nine-week period. - Any unsold merchandise left at Next for more than three months from the drop-off date will be assumed unwanted and will become the property of Next. We reserve the right to sell, donate or otherwise dispose of the items without further responsibility to the consignor. - Finally, we strive to provide a safe and secure environment for the care and sale of your clothing and accessories. Unfortunately, no system is foolproof, therefore Next cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items.
